Ghousia was married to Said Zahran Hamed Al Rajhi a resident of Nizwan, Sultanate of Oman on 11th Aug 2008 in a house of Hyderabad.

She alleged that, out of seven girls showed to the old Omani national he selected her for marriage.

'' Since marriage he used to visit Hyderabad every year and used to send money for my livelihood regularly, But on 15th Aug 2017 I received a call from him and he pronounced "Talaq" to me without any prioror notice or proper due procedure as per Islamic laws.'' Said Ghousia.

As she is living with her old mother and she has no one to take care of financially Ghousia has now knocked the door of MEA and requested Minister Sushma Swaraj to ask the Indian Embassy in Masqat, Oman to inquire and settle her issue by providing financial help and compensation.
